PROGRAM: 

• 09:00 hrs. – Pick up from your hotel

• Arrive at the Elephant Sanctuary, welcome drink surrounded by lush panoramic nature and ocean view followed by safety instruction

• Prepare elephant food such as herb balls, fruit and feed our big friends

• Observe elephant bathing, respectfully socialize and safely walk with the elephants while overlooking the entire lush scenery

• Elephant introduction at our Information and Education Center

• See the presentation of varies of Thai Rice and our traditional Thai kitchen

• Visit a local Waterfall and refresh

• An amazingly delicious Thai set lunch at our authentic Nai Muang Restaurant

• Enjoy the stunning natural vibe on a relaxing Bamboo Raft trip down the jungle river

• Experience the Sea Turtle Conversation Center

Our lovingly nurtured Elephant Sanctuary, Khao Lak happily invites you for a truly special, inspiring, and equally humbling elephant experience in an original surrounding while respectfully making friends with these gentle giants. At our ethical and eco-tourism sustainable based Elephant Sanctuary, elephants can just be elephants.

In the morning we are picking you up at your hotel in all comfort. Right upon arrival enjoy our welcome drink surrounded by lush panoramic ocean view while we are happily explaining why it is important to take genuine care of our big friends. After the safety introduction we are getting busy by preparing tasty herb balls made from tamarind, bananas and more. Soon after, you will experience that it’s one of the elephant’s favourite treats to joyfully munch on. 

Afterwards, let’s all take a walk together, shall we? At any moment, we are keeping a safe and respectful distance. Clearly, our top priority is the wellbeing of our elephants. Therefore, we are not offering rides, animal shows, elephant kisses or lying on the elephants. 
Next after the walk, the elephant’s personal care takers, called mahout, will provide some insights into the elephant’s daily healthcare.  Trunks up for another fruity snack before our guides are sharing more information about the background of each individual elephant at our information and education center. 

A delicious Thai picnic will wait for you while you can observe your newly made elephant friends at the Elephant Sanctuary. Take your time, walk around and observe the elephants have the freedom expressing their natural behaviour and happily socializing with each other.

With a happy mind, we are saying goodbye or better see you again to our newly made elephant friends.

Join us for an amazingly delicious and energizing Thai set meal serving various dishes in our beautifully Nai Muang Restaurant, which is already worth a visit all on its own.

Next, make yourself comfortable on a floating bamboo raft and cruise along the river while a diverse range of flora and fauna is all around you.

After the river cruise, you will witness literally hundreds of turtles in all different shapes and sizes in a protected environment. Furthermore, we will highlight the importance of these beauties for our nature and how they can safely grow up in peace before being released back to mother nature. 

Lastly, we are dropping you safely and comfortably off at your hotel with many great memories from this journey.
