This excursion combines three of the most popular Buddhist temples in Bangkok. Start with a visit to the Royal Grand Palace, an architectural masterpiece of several buildings, used as a royal residence from the 18th century to the mid-20th century. It is possibly the most visited royal monument in Thailand and should not be missed.

You then visit Wat Pho, Bangkok's oldest temple and home of the famous gold leaf-covered reclining Buddha, and Wat Traimit with its 5.5 ton golden Buddha.

On the way back you pass many magnificent temples and buildings along Ratchadamnoen Road (the Royal Way), such as the City Pillar Shrine, National Museum, Democracy Monument, Golden Mountain, Thai Boxing Stadium and Parliament House. To round off the excursion, you call in at a local lapidary factory and showroom, where you can buy locally made jewellery, handicrafts and silk at competitive prices.
