Experience Krabi's city and culture rather than the sea on this full-day excursion. The first stop is Wat Tham Sua, the Tiger Cave Temple, a quiet, secluded spot where Buddhist monks practise meditation in small huts and caves inside a ring of tree-covered cliffs.

Continue about 10 minutes to Krabi Town and its famous black crab sculpture, with a picturesque view of Khao Kha Nab Nam across the Krabi River at the entrance to town. Then board a longtail boat and cruise along the river to a local restaurant for lunch.

After lunch, visit the Muslim village of Koh Klang by local three-wheeler. It is a traditional fishing community where you can see the close relationship between the islanders and the sea.
