Pick up from major hotels in Bangkok downtown in early morning. Depart to Kanchanaburi province (128 km. from Bangkok). First stop at Thailand-Burma Railway Centre, an interactive museum information and research dedicated to presenting the history of Thailand-Burma Railway. Visit Allied War Cemetery, resting-place for more than 6,000 Allied prisoners of war (POWs). Visit the world famous Bridge over the River Kwai, a part of Death Railway constructed by allied POWs. Take a long-tailed boat to your hotel: River Kwai Jungle Rafts (JR101), check in and have lunch at hotel. After lunch takes a long-tailed boat to Resotel Pier continue to visit Hell Fire Pass Memorial by land transfer. Then, transfer back to hotel and free at leisure. Dinner will serve at hotel. After dinner enjoy the traditional “Mon Dance Show” approx. 45 minutes.
Visit nearby ethnic Mon Tribal Village and jungle trekking. Check out and enjoy lunch at local restaurant. Take a historic ride on Death Railway Train passing over original wooden viaduct constructed by Allied POWs. Transfer back to Bangkok.
